About this block

A team section with a centered heading and a card for each person: photo, name, role, a short bio and links to their profiles. Putting faces and names on your site helps visitors trust who they're dealing with. The cards sit side by side on desktop and stack on smaller screens.

When to use it

  • On an About page, to introduce the people behind the business.
  • When customers deal with specific people, like at a clinic, law firm, agency or salon.
  • To show expertise on a service page, with the person who does the work.
  • When you're hiring and want candidates to see who they'd work with.

What's inside

  • An h2 heading and a short intro line, centered above the cards.
  • 4 cards on a light surface, in one column on phones and tablets and two columns on desktop.
  • From tablet width up, each photo fills the left side of its card. On phones it sits across the top.
  • Each card has the person's name as an h3, their role, and a one-line bio in softer text.
  • A row of icon buttons for LinkedIn, X, GitHub and a personal website, each with a label screen readers read out, like "Bonnie Green on LinkedIn".

How to customize it

  • Use photos taken in similar light and framing so the cards look like a set. Portraits with the face in the upper half crop best.
  • Point each icon button at that person's real profile, and delete the ones they don't use. Update the button text with their name so the label stays accurate.
  • Keep bios to one or two sentences of similar length so the cards line up.
  • Duplicate a card to add a person. An even number of cards keeps the two-column grid balanced on desktop.

Questions

What should a team bio say?
What the person does for customers and one detail that makes them real, like years of experience or a specialty. Skip long career histories. Link to a full profile page if you need more.
Do I need to show every employee?
No. Many businesses show the founders and the people customers actually talk to. Only show someone with their permission.
Can I swap the icons for Instagram or Facebook?
Yes. Change the icon on any social button to another brand icon from the icon picker, and update its link and text to match.
