About this block
A simple contact form in a narrow centred column: a heading, a short intro, then name, email and message fields stacked one under the other. A single column is quick to fill in on any screen. Use it on a contact page or near the end of any page where you want people to reach you.
When to use it
- A dedicated contact page that only needs a form.
- The end of a services or about page, to catch people who are ready to ask a question.
- Small business sites where a phone number alone isn't enough.
- Any page where a 2-column contact layout would feel too heavy.
What's inside
- A centred h2 heading and a short paragraph above the form.
- Name, email and message fields with labels, all required. Each field has a light fill and a visible border.
- A note under the fields with an info icon and Links to your Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
- A full-width primary Send message button.
- The column stays about 512px wide on large screens and fills the width on phones.
How to customize it
- Rewrite the intro to say how fast you reply, for example "We answer within 1 business day."
- Point the Terms and Privacy Links at your own pages, or delete the note if you don't need it.
- In the form settings, choose where messages go: email, saved in PageHub, or a webhook.
- Add a phone or company field if you need it, and remove the required setting from fields that are optional.
Questions
- How many fields should a contact form have?
- As few as you need. Name, email and message covers most enquiries. Each extra field lowers the number of people who finish the form.
- Do I need a privacy policy link on a contact form?
- If you collect personal details like names and emails, privacy laws such as GDPR expect you to say how you use them. The note under the fields gives you a place to link your policy.
- Will the form check the email address?
- Yes. The email field only accepts a valid address, and the form won't send until every required field is filled in.
